My World View Map for examples of my personal and teaching values.

My Values are organized in no particular order for I value views held are fluid and of equal importance.

  • Culture does NOT equal character: A prejudice-free classroom
  • Knowledge should be accessible to all
  • Practice makes progress
  • Being true to your identity and character is a must (Love is Love)
  • You have to love and respect yourself first
  • Family is more than bloodlines
  • Do or Do not there is no try- you either give your best daily (no matter what your best may be on that day) or you don’t, that’s up to you

Values not pictured but believed wholeheartedly

  • There needs to be safe spaces for students to “fail”- builds character and allows us to better help the learner develop their skills
  • All in the classroom treat one another with respect and kindness (You don’t have to like everyone but you do have to treat them how you would like to be treated)
